To help make your dream come true here is some key point on what we will provide.
The Ceremony
Take a walk through the trees to your beloved and say your wedding vows to each other under the shades of the big eucalyptus trees, with only the sound of the wind and birds.
For those preferring a garden wedding ceremony, they can do so beneath an elegant Gazebo in our beautiful garden.
You can also do your vows under the trees.
The Venue
Stand spellbound by blue skies, horizons that extend forever, rolling hills, sandstone mountains and golden fields in the heart of the country. In this beautiful setting is a venue that can host functions of up to 150 guests.
The unique ambiance is created by the distinctive rustic feeling of the venue in the 150 year old sandstone milk shed and a cash bar in the sandstone silo with a wine cellar. The decor has been tastefully chosen to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere.
We can also cater for Children at Vlakbult Guest Farm where the conference room is transformed into a children’s room with a TV, DVD player and also mattresses. DVD’s must be supplied by the guest. The venue can also be booked for other functions and anniversaries.
Cocktails On The Grass
After your joyous ceremony your guests can enjoy a cocktail, sherries and snacks in the beautiful garden while relaxing around the “konka” fires and enjoying the sunset.
Vlakbult Catering
Your wedding is one of the biggest days of your life, and you want it to be perfect therefore a qualified chef provides you with catering. Each menu is planned according to the requirements of our guests whether it is a Warm Buffet, Cold buffet, Spitbraai, BBQ, Cocktail platters or even Picnic Baskets.
You can also create your own unique menu for the event with the help of our chef who will with passion and precision execute your dream menu. We will kindly assist you with your wine list and supply of wine, sherry and port.
• Admission to the farm is reserved for wedding guests only – We provide exclusivity for you on your wedding day.
• The Wedding occasion is a weekend getaway for guests – i.e 2 Nights stay (we do not hurry you off to cater for others)
• Afternoon Wedding times : 14h00 – 00h00 (Surcharges apply thereafter)
• Morning Wedding times : 10h00 – 20h00 (Surcharges apply thereafter)
